NorthernStar Natural Gas Inc. is a U.S. owned
and managed company focused on the development of domestic LNG terminal
projects. NorthernStar Natural Gas Inc. got its start when a small
group of industry experts came together with the goal of creating an
energy company of superior quality and character aimed at providing
much-needed energy to the western United States. Today, NorthernStar
Natural Gas Inc. embodies their vision. The company is committed

to the growing need for additional natural gas supplies on the U.S.

The company has a seasoned management team
with significant project development experience, having been involved
in the development of more than 50 energy infrastructure projects with
an aggregate investment of over $15 billion – including involvement
in the development, construction or operation of nine LNG projects worldwide.
With a combined 150 years experience, the NSNG team includes former
executives, energy consultants, engineers, commercial developers and
a number of others with varied backgrounds in the energy industry. They
have also partnered with some of the most reputable outside advisors
and companies in the energy industry in order to create the most effectively
and efficiently run corporation possible.
Our Objectives
The United States faces a growing shortage of
natural gas supplies as demand continues to rise and supply continues
to decline. Huge reserves of natural gas exist in far off corners of
the globe, but until recently, the distance and cost associated with
piping these gas supplies to North America made its access unfeasible.
Increasingly, however, natural gas suppliers from these distant locations
are liquefying their products and shipping them across oceans, already
providing many markets with much, if not all, of their natural gas supply.
Because of advances in technology, liquefied natural gas shipping and
receiving have become cost-effective, so much so that NorthernStar Natural
Gas Inc. has identified liquefied natural gas as the best solution
to provide the Western United States markets with a long term source
of safe, clean, affordable energy.
